TR7 Indoor Skatepark CIC’s project will convert a centrally-located, disused industrial building for use by the community. The building will include setting up a new indoor skatepark, increasing the size from their previous location by almost three times the size.

The skatepark will provide a variety of programmes, including; an after school programme for local students, woman and LGBTQ+ programme, youth mentorship programme, adaptive programme using specialised equipment and indoor surf training. Catering for all ages and abilities, featuring a variety of different obstacles for beginners as well as for those more experienced. They have also developed an incredibly unique rope system, which helps anyone get on board without the risk of falling.

Alongside the skateboarding and surf training, the site will also feature a café area, a shop offering skateboarding products as well as a spectator area.
