Perranporth Rugby Club Equipment

Lead Organisation: Perranporth Rugby Club

Investment Priority: Community and Place

Fund: Community Capacity Fund

SPF awarded: £19,059

Location: Perranporth

The Community Capacity Fund grant will enable Perranporth Rugby Club to purchase a range of new training equipment, including junior low‑tackle machines, tackle suits, training ball bundles, Apollo Club tug‑of‑war ropes, and training bibs. This investment will significantly increase the Club’s capacity to offer inclusive, high‑quality training sessions for all ages and abilities.

The new equipment will be used by every section of the Club from the youngest “micros” players to adult teams, as well as the Sirens girls’ teams. By expanding the availability and variety of training resources, the Club aims to support more people to stay active, build confidence, and take part in regular exercise within a safe and supportive environment.

This grant will strengthen the Club’s ability to serve as a key community hub, offering accessible opportunities for physical activity and social connection. The benefits of the investment will be long‑lasting, helping current and future members stay fit, engaged, and involved in sport for years to come.
