Real Ideas Organisation are using the Shared Prosperity Fund to transform Liskeard Library into a state-of-the-art public facility.
They hope to attract people of all ages with a diverse offer combining 21st century library provision with specialist tech facilities, co-working and an activity and learning programme for the local community and businesses. There will also be a focus on providing a timetable of events throughout the year, ranging from small-scale performance and visual art to large immersive events, attracting a new audience to the town and bringing the local community together.
The capital works have already begun and the building is expected to open before the end of 2023.
