Liskeard Cattle Market is currently undergoing a major programme of regeneration.
This project will use the Shared Prosperity Find to deliver some of the wider coordination of activities to ensure alignment and maximise the impact of the whole programme. It will also look into plans for future bus provision at the site to provide more sustainable transport options.
As well as this, it will undertake a feasibility study into the viability of refurbishing/upgrading an existing Cornwall Council owned building located on the northern boundary of the former Liskeard Cattle Market. The study will explore possibilities and assess the viability of potential options, and will explore additional funding opportunities if a viable option is established and considered appropriate.
Updates to all works being undertaken on the Liskeard Cattle Market site can be found on Cornwall Council’s website.
