South Crofty Limited will conduct a feasibility study to explore options for ore and materials hoisting, which is one of the primary components required to bring the mine back into operation.

The study will result in a report with recommendations on the practicalities, merits, risks and costs of all options and enable an informed decision to be made in terms of future development and investment opportunities for South Crofty Mine.

A key consideration of the feasibility study will be to assess the environmental impacts of the various hoisting options and priority will be given to those that have  less environmental impact.
