Crackington Institute is launching a small-scale outreach project to improve visibility and communication with local residents. The project focuses on promoting events and activities more effectively to encourage greater community engagement.
At the heart of the initiative is the installation of a new external noticeboard outside the Institute. Positioned near the village shop, snooker rooms, and bus stop, it will help reach a wider audience, including passers-by and visitors. A second noticeboard, to be installed by the Parish Council in the Haven, will further expand reach by targeting an area of high footfall.
To support timely and professional communication, the Institute is also investing in office equipment, including a software package, printer, and laminator. These tools will enable the creation of up-to-date promotional materials that can be displayed on the noticeboards and shared with the community.
Crackington Institute is a well-used village hall at the heart of the local community. By improving its ability to advertise and inform, the Institute hopes to engage more residents, increase participation in local events, and ensure the hall continues to serve as a vibrant and inclusive space for all.
