This project will advance plans for a vital extension of the Boscastle Community & Recreation Centre.

To ensure the project is delivered efficiently and to a high standard, the Centre is investing in:

  • Architect-led development of detailed schedules of work and procurement documents.
  • Project management and Quantity Surveyor (QS) support for tender evaluation, programme planning, and cost control.

These professional services are essential to maintain financial oversight, run a fair procurement process, and avoid delays or cost overruns.

Originally the Boscastle Men’s Club, the Centre was transformed into a multi-purpose facility through the Boscastle Millennium Project and has been operated by a dedicated volunteer committee since its opening in 2001. This next phase of development will improve accessibility, increase storage, support new activities, and strengthen its role as a civil emergency hub.

The extension will unlock greater community activity, resilience, and inclusion, ensuring the Centre continues to serve Boscastle for generations to come.
