The Agri Carbon Kernow project offers farmers in Cornwall free support to help them:
- Reduce their carbon footprint, thereby saving costs and doing their part to be part of the solution to climate change.
- Improve their water resilience and the impact of their enterprises on the quality and quantity of water in their catchments
- Assess the natural environment of their farms and understand how they can be part of the solution for nature recovery and where funding may be found to assist, including advice on the new Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI).
The project is a collaboration between Duchy College, Westcountry Rivers Trust, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the Farm Carbon Toolkit and the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Growth Hub. It is an extension of the highly successful Farm Net Zero project that already supports farms in Cornwall.
