Yep! managed by CSW Group, launched in January 2024 to help disadvantaged young people in Cornwall aged 16-24.
They have a specific focus on 16-18 year-olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) or are at risk of NEET, with special educational needs (SEN), or are in other vulnerable groups.
Their unique, integrated and collaborative approach combines the very best local support to build confidence, resilience, and competence within young people as they determine their way in the world after secondary education.

Case Studies:
K joined Yep! in May 2024. Through Yep! sessions, he used a process of ruling out jobs and courses he didn’t want to do and became more confident in his skill set.
He’s now started a 16-week Skills Bootcamp with a view to potentially starting an IT apprenticeship.
He knows he now has support available working towards the future.
Aged 21, Jimmy wanted some support with job searching and develop skills. He met regularly with his key worker, who helped him understand the available opportunities, they updated his CV and signed up to job search sites.
He has gained work experience, took part in various groups and campaigns and secured a summer job.
Since starting the Yep! project, Rae has been working one-to-one with her CSW Group Yep! Adviser, exploring options for returning to education.
She has also attended the PLUSS ME course through Yep! partners PLUSS.
Logan joined the Yep! project as a student in 6th Form. He wanted to prepare himself for adulthood and have a CV for future employment opportunities.
Thanks to courses and support, Logan applied for his first job and has a better understanding of job searching and job applications, along with interview expectations.
He now feels he has everything he needs to start his adult life and search for jobs and other voluntary opportunities to enhance his CV.
Yep! Connecting with nature for wellbeing – CSW Group Ltd.
This young person stopped attending school in Year 8, becoming isolated and not eating well. They experienced poor mental health – the main barrier to education and socialisation.
Through weekly group wellbeing sessions with Yep! partner Newquay Orchard’s, focussing on nature connectedness, there was the opportunity to socialise and build connections with other young people facing similar challenges – this helped build confidence.

Cornwall Education Business Partnership (EBP) supported a young person, with no qualifications and living in emergency housing, to find his way forward.
With 1:1 support to explore aspirations, they looked at his work experience, possible apprenticeships and college courses.
Working in collaboration with Argyle Community Trust, another partner on Yep! he is also completing his functional skills in Maths and English.
Yep! Raising Aspirations – CSW Group Ltd.
This young person was referred as they were coming to the end of a supported internship and needed assistance with their next steps.
With barriers of Autism and anxiety they lacked confidence. Trust was built over many sessions and confidence grew. The young person attended an Industry Day at The Headland Hotel which opened their eyes to new possibilities for the future.
Yep! Chloe is ‘Work Ready’ – CSW Group Ltd.
Chloe, a Year 13 student, was given tailored support when she wanted help with her next steps.
She had a CSW Group Yep! Key Worker and attended fellow partner Active Plus’ Confidence and Motivation course.
With one-to-one support she got photographic ID, opened a bank account, wrote a CV, completed job searches and practiced interview skills.
