The aim of Launchpad Futures is to drive growth in regional economy and beyond by sharing expertise and facilities with businesses.
It aims to tap into Falmouth University’s knowledge and skills, partnering with businesses to accelerate growth.
From student internships to strategic consultation, by taking advantage of Falmouth University’s knowledge and physical places/equipment to trial new technologies, develop ideas, people may ultimately be able to create new products and processes to benefit your business.
Steve Cox, Head of Launchpad Venture Studio, says: “Launchpad Futures is about sharing the university’s knowledge with businesses and helping them to grow and prosper.
“The real focus is businesses that have activity in Cornwall and trying to make that connection between the skills the university has and the needs of those businesses.”
Launchpad Futures helps to build Cornwall’s economy by working with businesses to boost their productivity and revenue regionally and beyond.
Marcus Simmons, course leader MSc Entrepreneurship Falmouth University, says: “Launchpad is the Gateway for businesses to engage with the university. That could mean some very practical advice, in terms of problems they might have, right through to student projects that can help businesses with various different problems or dilemmas they are facing.
“As you know Falmouth University is one of the top arts colleges in the country and so you can tap into an incredibly wide range of skills that are going to benefit your business in a way that probably other other places can’t.”
